AAMIR Hamza will lead 18-member Nagpur district team in the Maharashtra State (WIFA) Inter-District Football Championship for U-20 Men to be held at Sinhagad Sports Complex, Lonavala. Nagpur District Football Association (NDFA) has named Pranav Nimbarte as vice-captain of the team. In the knock-out tournament that runs till April 28, Nagpur, placed in Group B will begin their campaign on April 24 against the winners of match between Akola and Beed. Other teams in the group are Palghar, Thane, Jalgaon, Satara and Bhandara. Haresh Vora, President, NDFA; Iqbal Kashmiri, Secretary, Dr Stanley Gregory, General Secretary and AB Khan were among those who wished the team good luck.
