THE Achalpur Court has extended police custody remand (PCR) of Ahfaj Khan Mansoor Khan, one of the accused in the sensational sexual exploitation case of Paratwada. The Court also remanded three other accused to Magisterial Custody Remand (MCR). I nanother development in the case, police have seized two firearms and a vehicle used by the main accused Ayan Ahmed Tanveer Ahmed to shoot a reel which has now gone viral.
Police have arrested eight personbs so far including Ayan Ahmed. On Thursday, police presented four accused namely Ahfaj Khan Mansoor Khan, Manav Deepak Sugandhe, Mohammad Imran Mohammad Sabir and Sheikh Naved Sheikh Hasan before the court as their PCR ended on April 23.
The court extended the PCR of Ahfaj Khan Mansoor Khan till April 27 and remanded the three others to judicial custody.
About the viral reel, police officers informed that the accused had shot it inside a Mahindra Thar and two pistols were also visible in it.
During the investigation, it was established that both the firearms and the vehicle belong to Rajesh Roshan Prajapati (50), a resident of Saoli Datura in Achalpur tehsil.
Police have since seized the two guns and the vehicle from Prajapati. Preliminary observations suggest that the bore (diameter) of the pistols appears to be small. Authorities have stated that the weapons will be sent to forensic experts for detailed examination and further investigation will proceed based on the findings.
