The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, has announced the registration for IIT-JEE Advanced Exam 2026 for candidates who have qualified in JEE Mains 2026 with over 93.4 percentile (general category).
The results of JEE-Mains January 2026 session was announced by National Testing Agency (NTA) on February 16 followed by JEE-Mains April 2026 session, whose results were declared on April 20. The last date to submit the
JEE Advanced May 2 and the deadline to pay application fee is May 4 (3200 rupees for candidates of general, other backward classes and economically weaker section and 1600 rupees for female, physical disable, scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates).
Successful students who have qualified in either one of the exams or in both exams will now appear for JEE Advanced 2026, followed by counselling to qualify the examination and will get admission into four-year Bachelor of Technology course in anyone of 23 IITs across the country.
Eligible candidates of all categories can complete their JEE Advanced 2026 online application by logging in with their JEE Main credentials. In reserved category, applicant must also upload valid certificates during registration process.
Dr Rakshit Selot, PhD from IIT Roorkee and online tutor of JEE-Advanced exam informed that, this year, over 350 candidates have succeeded to qualify for appearing in JEE Advanced and the examination will be scheduled to take place on May 17.
The exam consists of two papers. The first paper will be held from 9 am to 12 noon while the second paper will be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. In Chhattisgarh, the examination will be conducted in three major cities consist of Raipur, Bhilainagar and Bilaspur.
