The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board is organising the Sub-Inspector Recruitment Examination 2026 under the aegis of the Chhattisgarh State Agricultural Marketing (Mandi) Board on Sunday, April 26, 2026. A total of 38,937 candidates are expected to appear for this examination, for which 123 examination centers have been established across the Durg district. The scheduled time for the examination is from 10:00 am to 12:15 pm. To ensure the convenience of the candidates and the smooth conduct of the examination, special instructions have been issued by the Nodal Officer; under these guidelines, candidates are advised to visit and inspect their designated examination centers one day prior to the exam.

 

On the day of the examination, it is mandatory for candidates to arrive at least two hours in advance to facilitate the verification of their original photo-bearing identity cards and to undergo security checks. A point of particular importance to note is that the main gates of the examination centers will be closed at 9:30 am, after which no candidate will be granted entry. To maintain discipline and integrity during the examination, candidates are required to wear light-coloured, half-sleeved clothing and footwear consisting of slippers. The wearing of dark-coloured clothing such as black, blue, green, purple, maroon, or chocolate brown is strictly prohibited.

 

Candidates intending to wear religious or cultural attire must report to the examination center earlier than the standard arrival time and will be granted entry only after undergoing additional security checks. Furthermore, the wearing of any form of jewelry in the ears is prohibited. Carrying any devices or materials such as mobile phones, electronic watches, wallets, belts, caps, or scarves into the examination hall is strictly forbidden. Candidates will be permitted to carry only black or blue ballpoint pens. Strict action will be taken against any candidate found using unfair means, which will result in the immediate cancellation of their candidature.
