Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) announced the launch of its 11 nights / 12 days ‘Divya Dakshin Yatra’ aboard the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. This specially curated journey offers travelers a unique opportunity to explore the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of South India.
Beginning from Nagpur, the yatra will cover prominent pilgrimage and heritage destinations including Hampi, Mysore, Coimbatore, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Tirupati, and Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga.
The package is attractively priced starting from Rs 21,690 per person. (Economy Class (SL): Rs 21,690; Standard Class (3AC): Rs 36,740; and Comfort Class (2AC): Rs 48,730).
Gaurav Jha, Group General Manager, IRCTC West Zone, Mumbai, stated that this exclusive composite AC/Non-AC train will provide a seamless pilgrimage experience, connecting major spiritual destinations in a single itinerary.
Passengers can choose from Economy Sleeper (SL), Standard 3AC, and Comfort 2AC classes. The train is designed to accommodate approximately 750 passengers. Boarding and deboarding facilities are available at multiple stations including Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Chalisgaon, Manmad, Nasik, Igatpuri, Kalyan, and Pune, ensuring wide accessibility for pilgrims.
