Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is all set to conduct the State Service and State Forest Service Preliminary Examination 2026 on Sunday. To ensure transparency and prevent malpractice, the administration has introduced new security protocol across all examination centers.
The examination will be conducted in two sessions across 365 centers spanning 54 divisions and district headquarters of the state, including 14 centers in Jabalpur.
The sessions will be organised between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm and 02:15 pm-04:15 pm. For the first time, a mandatory three-tier verification process including Biometric Authentication, Admit Card Scanning and HHMD (Hand-Held Metal Detector) Frisking, has been implemented for both sessions.
The candidates must arrive at their respective centers exactly 90 minutes before to complete these security formalities.
The shoes and socks are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
Candidates are advised to wear slippers or sandals. While watches (analog or digital), belts, sunglasses, clutches/hair buckles, wallets, hats and metallic or leather bands are prohibited along with pencils, erasers, whiteners, scales, mobile phones, calculators and any communication gadgets.
Search will be conducted by female invigilators in private cabins. While dupattas/scarves will be checked, they will be returned immediately.
Religious symbols such as turbans, hijabs or sacred threads will be inspected respectfully but not removed. Jewelry worn by women will also be allowed to remain after a thorough check.
In a progressive move, transgender applicants have been given the choice to be searched by either male or female staff.
The candidates are permitted to carry only original e-admit card and a valid Photo ID, Black/Blue ballpoint pen for marking the OMR sheet, a transparent water bottle and necessary aids for specially-abled (Divyang) candidates into the hall.
The Divisional Commissioner's office has reiterated that these measures are essential to maintain the sanctity of the prestigious state examination. Candidates are urged to check the list of prohibited items displayed at the entrance to avoid any last-minute hurdles.
