Need to create job opportunities via skilled-based educational economic model: CA Shwetali Thakare

CA ShwEtAli Thakare, Secretary of Swadhinta Gram Vikas and Peace Foundation on Saturday said that India’s social economic strength has to be rebuilt by establishing tradional skill-based educational institutions. After years of invasion by foreign powers the Indian economy and traditional businesses were destroyed.
Speaking at press conference she further said, “Now we must transition towards a skill-based, inclusive and ecentralised economic model, where society rises above caste divisions and reorients around skills, productivity, and dignity of labour.”

Foundation, Abhishek Deshpande, Advisor, Rajesh Londhe, Director of Londhe Jewellers and Sonali Nakshine, Media Professional were also present at the meeting.
CA Shwetali Thakare is also the Chairman at Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority said that for the country to progress the next phase of reform must focus on establishing large-scale skill-based educational institutions. Strengthening MSMEs and small entrepreneurs which already contribute 30% to GDP and 45% to exports of the country. Ensuring funding for skill economy at par with infrastructure investment.
Creating market linkages, digital platforms, and export access and promote social acceptance and dignity for artisans and service providers.
This approach will enable individuals to build independent livelihoods, generate mass employment, reduce dependency on welfare, and strengthen the government’s fiscal capacity. Since most financial support is repayable, this creates a self-sustaining, win-win model that enhances State GDP and overall economic growth.
In order to revive skill-based circular economy Swadhinta Gram Vikas and Peace Foundation is working on establishing the Institute of Indian Economics and Research Centre at Wardha. This institute will develop India centric economic models integrating with technology and global challenges.

currently, Inida is among the world’s largest economies, yet nearly 80 crore people depend on welfare schemes while a significant workforce remains in the informal sector reflecting high income disparity.
