Nikhil Sharma was recently elected as the new Chairman of Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF), Nagpur Chapter. This was announced at the recently held annual meeting of the chapter at Maharaj Bagh Club, Nagpur. The meeting held in presence of Sushil Sharma, National President, IIF. Nikhil Sharma was introduced by Sourabh Mohta. His appointment marks a significant milestone for the chapter, signalling renewed vision, stronger leadership, and greater unity within the foundry fraternity. The other newly elected office-bearers of the IIF Nagpur Chapter are:- Vice Chairman –Irfan Makki, Kapilansh Dhatu Udyog; Secretary - Taha Fidvi, C P Foundry; Treasurer - Anush Narnaware, Deepshikha Castings; and Joint Secretary - Himanshu Tikhe, Deepshikha Castings.
 
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Taha Fidvi, who acknowledged the active participation of members and reaffirmed the collective spirit of the foundry community. With Nikhil Sharma at the helm, supported by a dedicated team of office-bearers, the IIF Nagpur Chapter looks forward to a dynamic year of growth, innovation, and collaboration. Addressing the members, Nikhil Sharma said: “The foundry industry is the backbone of manufacturing, and Nagpur has always played a vital role in shaping its future.
 
As Chairman, my focus will be on fostering innovation, encouraging skill development, and building stronger collaboration among members. Together, we will work to enhance sustainability, adopt modern technologies, and ensure that our fraternity continues to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s industrial growth.” The programme featured a welcome address by Mansi Bhatt, felicitation of the National President by Mankar, presentation of the annual report by Irfan Makki, and a financial overview by Anush Narnaware. Dignitaries were felicitated by Anuja Sharma, Kaushal Mohta, Sushil Sharma, and Sourabh Mohta.
