As the youth stood up on the coal filled wagon, he came in contact with the high tension wire that carries 25,000 volts of current. The youth was thrown off the wagon and landed besides the rail track. As the matter came to notice, the railway personnel working in the section rush to the spot. The GRP team and RPF personnel to reached the spot.

The injured youth was found unconscious and by the time he was rushed to hospital, he was already dead. The doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. GRP said the person was a beggar and was not stable when he climbed atop the coal wagon and came in contact with high tension wire. The technicians reached the spot and after minor repair the power was restarted. Train movement however was not affected due to the incident. The identify of the deceased remains unknown.
