“The success achieved by Satyanarayan Nuwal has made everyone in the city proud and has given them the confidence that any person from anywhere can achieve extraordinary results with their hard work,” said Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Sarsanghchalak, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Sunday. Dr Bhagwat was speaking at the felicitation of Padma Shri Satyanarayan Nuwal, Chairman, Solar Industries India Ltd; and Daksh Khante, world’s youngest Ironman, held by Nag Bhushan Award Foundation at Hotel Raddison Blu. Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister; Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways; Adv Ashish Jaiswal, Minister of State; Ajay Sancheti, President, Nag Bhushan Award Foundation; and Adv Nishant Gandhi, Secretary, shared the dais. Nag Bhushan Award Foundation felicitated Padma Shri Satyanarayan Nuwal with Nag Bhushan Award 2025, and Daksh Khante with Yuva Nag Bhushan Award 2025 at the hands of Dr Mohan Bhagwat.

 

Dr Mohan Bhagwat, in his address, stated that every individual must try to make their success relevant to the society. “Being meaningful to society while achieving success is essential to being human,” said Dr Bhagwat. He stated that any person can achieve anything once they generate the self belief. The RSS chief also said that having skill alone does not guarantee success without sustained efforts. “Genius is 10 per cent inspiration and 90 per cent perspiration,” remarked Dr Bhagwat. Devendra Fadnavis, in his address, applauded the dedication of Satyanarayan Nuwal and Daksh Khante, calling it an inspiration for everyone. “Satyanarayan Nuwal stepped into defense production when nobody believed defense production in private sector is possible in India,” said Fadnavis.

 

“Solar Industries, under the leadership of Nuwal, has produced technologies in India that were monopolised by select few countries in the world,” he added. Fadnavis also applauded the role played by weapons developed by Solar industries in defense of country during Operation Sindoor. Nitin Gadkari, in his address, underlined the importance of work of Padma Shri Nuwal, especially in fields of drone and missile production. “The drones and missile capabilities are the measures which will decide the defense capabilities of nations in future,” said Gadkari. Referring to current international scenario, Gadkari added that the defense capabilities of a country rather than their monitory strength will determine the global position of the country. Gadkari also said that the country is proud of the contribution of Satyanarayan Nuwal’s contribution in protection of our country through technological advancements.

 

Satyanarayan Nuwal, while responding to his felicitation, stated getting award by hands of Dr Bhagwat is a matter of pride for him. “I stepped into defense production as contributing to protection of my country is like god worship for me. This award will inspire me to keep working with more energy,” stated Nuwal. Daksh Khante, in his address, said that Yuva Nag Bhushan award is like ‘Padma Shri of the city’ for him and credited his mother and father for this success. At the onset, Ajay Sancheti made the introductory remarks, while Vilas Kale delivered the welcome address. Shraddha Bharadwaj compered the programme. Adv Nishant Gandhi delivered a vote of thanks.
