Collector Raghvendra Singh chaired a review meeting to assess pending correspondence and priority Government schemes, issuing strict directions on development and public welfare initiatives, on Monday. The meeting focused on the ‘Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari Programme’ under the ‘Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan’, with a comprehensive plan prepared for the revival of the Hiran River. The campaign will span from the river’s origin to its confluence with the Narmada River, combining socio-cultural outreach to raise awareness with technical measures for water conservation which will conclude on Ganga Dussehra.

He also directed officials to prioritise resolution of CM Helpline cases and other pending matters. Highlighting healthcare, Singh called for accelerated distribution of Nikshay baskets, issuance of Ayushman cards to workers, and screening for sickle cell anaemia and tuberculosis, along with completion of e-KYC processes.
