THE karate team of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) claimed bronze medal in the All India Inter-University Karate Competition held at Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh, Assam. The team was felicitated by Vice-Chancellor Dr Manali Kshirsagar at Jamnalal Bajaj Administrative Building.

 

The function was attended by Registrar Dr Raju Hiwase, Finance and Accounts Officer Harish Paliwal, Director of Sports and Physical Education Department Dr Sambhaji Bhosale, Director of Knowledge Source Centre Dr Vijay Khandal and others. Karatekas Manas Raut, Manish Narvekar, Akshat Dharamthok, Ayush Patharabe, and Hrithik Mudaliar, who secured third place in the individual kumite (75 kg) category, were felicitated by Dr Kshirsagar. Dr Zakir Khan was the team manager, while Jagdish Mankar was the coach of the men’s team. Women team coach Vaidehi Shende was also felicitated.
