The WhatsApp account of BJP City President Dayashankar Tiwari was hacked on Tuesday, with a cyber fraudster sending messages to his contacts asking for money. Tiwari has filed a complaint at the Cyber Police Station and urged people not to respond to such messages. According to information, the unknown person gained access to the WhatsApp account linked to Tiwari’s mobile number 9373107164 on Tuesday afternoon. Soon after, several people in his contact list received messages claiming that his UPI payment system was not working and requesting urgent financial help. The messages also assured that the money would be returned by evening. A close acquaintance of Tiwari grew suspicious after receiving such a message and directly called him to confirm. It was then discovered that his WhatsApp account had been compromised.

Tiwari immediately informed the cyber police and initiated steps to secure his account. He also took to social media to alert the public about the fraud. “I request everyone not to trust any message sent from my number asking for money. Please do not transfer any amount,” Tiwari said in his appeal. Cyber police have started an investigation into the matter and are working to trace the accused. Officials have also advised citizens to verify such requests before making any transactions and report suspicious activity immediately.
