Nagpur Union of Working Journalists (NUWJ) unveiled a portrait of late Umesh Babu Choube to mark his 95th birth anniversary at Tilak Patrakar Bhavan on April 17. Pradip Kumar Maitra, President of the organisation presided over the programme. Prabhakar Dupare, Vice President; Harish Deshmukh, from Andhashradha Nirmulan Samiti were present as chief guests for the programme. Pradip Maitra, in his address, remembered the contribution of Umesh Babu Choube for getting justice for weaker sections in society.

 

Other attendees for the programme include Niraj Choubey, Tanuj Choubey, Vijay Kadam, Dyaneshwar Gurav, Vikrant Mohre, Naresh Nimje, Rajesh Kumbhalkar, Nitin Ronghe, Dilip Narvadiya, Ram Shivankar, Keshav Madhumatke, Nikhil Bhute, Raju Pimpalkar, Nandu Lekurwale, Goldy Sheikh, Mukund Mule, and Yogita Shende among others. Anupam Soni, General Secretary proposed a formal vote of thanks.
