CITY boxer Alfiya Tarannum Khan Pathan, who clinched silver medal at the ASBCA Asian Elite Boxing Championship at Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia, recently, was felicitated and congratulated by renowned personalities of Nagpur to encourage her and add even more fuel to her journey of bringing glory to the country. Former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha Member Praful Patel, Chairman of Minority Commission of State Pyare Khan and Inspector General (Anti-Naxal Operations, Nagpur) Sandip Patil met Alfiya and congratulated her for her silver winning effort at the Asian Championship. Pyare Khan met Alfiya and her family at their residence and congratulated her. He wished her success for future.

Inspector General Patil also congratulated Alfiya after her medal winning campaign. “Honoured to be felicitated by Sandip Patil sir after my Asian Elite Boxing Championships 2026. His motivating words have strengthened my belief to push harder and aim for bigger goals,” said Alfiya on ‘X’. Rajya Sabha MP Patel also congratulated Alfiya, who works with Central Railways, and lauded her efforts. “Truly honoured to be felicitated by Shri Praful Patel, Hon’ble Member of Rajya Sabha, for my silver medal at the Asian Elite Boxing Championships 2026. “This recognition fuels my hunger to push harder, aim higher, and bring home Gold for India,” Alfiya posted the message on ‘X’.
