The free yoga coaching camp organised by Nagpur District Yoga Association and Unity Sports Association, Bapu Nagar is evoking huge response with over 100 participants enrolling themselves in first couple
of days.
The participants received professional yogasana sports training in the camp under way at Bapu Nagar ground. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Sheshrao Thakre.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Satish Bhurle, Director Yog Sadhana Kendra.
Nagpur District Yoga Association Secretary Anil Mohgaokar, social workers Sanjay Jawjawar, Ashish Kothale, Sandesh Khare, Rajesh Gode and Bhushan Take were also present on the occasion.
Abhijeet Gode, Janvi Mankar, Palak Savarkar and Palash Manekar welcomed the dignitaries.
The camp aims to promote yogasana as a competitive sport and train enthusiasts in various techniques and disciplines.
Anil Mohgaokar guided the participants about Bhujangasana during the camp.
Speaking at the inaugural function, the dignitaries stressed the importance of yoga not just for physical fitness but also for mental well-being and discipline, especially among the youth.
The organisers expressed satisfaction over the large turnout and hoped that such initiatives would help popularise yogasana sports in the city and district.
