THE members of MIDC Industries Association (MIA) recently held a detaileddiscussionswithDrVilasSapkal, Vice Chancellor ofMGMUniversity, on potentialareasofcollaborationbetween industry and academia.DrVilas Sapkal has visited the office of Hingna MIDC industrial area. Dr Sapkal expressedastrong willingness to establish a memorandum of understanding (MoU)withMIA forproviding technical support, skill development initiatives, and strengthening industry-oriented education. He also conveyed his keen interest in working closely with local industry associations to contribute towards the overall business development ecosystem in the region, particularly by bridging the gap betweenindustryrequirementsandacademic output. MIA President P Mohan highlighted that such collaborations would significantlybenefitMSMEsbyenablingaccess to skilled manpower, technical expertise, andinnovative solutions tailored to industry needs.
