Dr Vinod Wamanrao Adbe, an eminent Physician of the City left for heavenly abode on 26th March in Dr K G Deshpande Memorial Hospital, Nagpur where he was admitted for necessary medical treatment. In his death, the City of Nagpur has lost from its midst not only an able and competent physician but, essentially, a loving Doctor who used to treat his patients with dedication and commitment. In today’s society we always come across tall talks of success and money power of medical professionals, but conveniently forget, or lose sight of, the fact that they, for that matter the entire work-force in the hospital industry, are always prone to grave risks and consequences while carrying out their responsibilities.

 

Scores of eminent Doctors, Physicians and Surgeons, practising in the City of Nagpur proudly recall that they were the Students of Dr Adbe in the Government Medical College and Hospital at Nagpur under whose guidance they have attained their present enviable status and prestige and all of them are proud of him. While, in the sad demise of Dr Adbe, the City of Nagpur has lost an illustratious personality, for his innumerable friends and admirers it sounds like a tragic and profound loss of a loving personality that has created a great void in their lives. Let us pay our respectful homage to his memories and offer our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
