During a jungle safari at the Pench Tiger Reserve in Seoni, tourists spotted a leopardess walking fearlessly on the road with her three young cubs. A video of this has surfaced.
The incident occurred while tourists were touring the jungle in a jeep. Suddenly, the leopardess emerged from the bushes with her cubs, crossed the dirt road, and headed towards the dense forest.
This sight filled the tourists with excitement and made their safari memorable.
Pench National Park stretches across the Seoni and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh, as well as Nagpur in Maharashtra. It is considered the inspiration for world-renowned author Rudyard Kipling’s book ‘The Jungle Book’.
Declared a National Park and then a Tiger Reserve in 1975, it is renowned worldwide for its dense forests and grasslands.
A Safe Haven for Wildlife- Pench is home not only to tigers and leopards, but also to bears, wild dogs, chital, sambar, nilgai, and gaur. It’s also a paradise for birdwatchers, with over 250 species of birds found here.
Pench holds immense tourism importance. Visitors can experience nature up close through jeep and elephant safaris. The best time to visit is from October to June.
