Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has launched BJP’s ‘Gaon-Basti Chalo Abhiyan’ at Manas Bhavan as part of the party’s foundation day programs, asserting that BJP workers operate with a “nation first” approach, unlike the Congress, which he accused of practicing appeasement politics, on Wednesday. Addressing party workers, Chief Minister said Bharatiya Janata Party has grown into the world’s largest political party due to the dedication and hard work of its cadre. He alleged that Congress lacks a clear ideology and that the country has paid a heavy price for the personal interests of its leaders over the years. Dr Yadav further accused the Congress of neglecting farmers, stating that “even two generations of Congress leaders apologizing would not be enough” for the injustices done to them. He emphasized that from the days of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh to the present, the BJP has never compromised on its ideological principles. The Chief Minister also criticized the Congress over historical and national issues, alleging that its policies led to instability in Jammu & Kashmir. Referring to the abrogation of Article 370 by the central government led by Narendra Modi, he said it helped end longstanding challenges in the region. He also spoke about the issue of triple talaq, saying that earlier governments failed to ensure justice for Muslim women, whereas the present government enacted strict laws to safeguard their rights.

Highlighting welfare initiatives, CM, Yadav said both the Central and Madhya Pradesh governments are working to uplift the last person in society, inspired by the philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. He listed schemes such as free ration to 80 crore people, housing for the poor, free healthcare up to Rs 5 lakh, piped drinking water and rural road connectivity as major achievements. He added that the state government is promoting women’s empowerment through reservations in government jobs and urban bodies and mentioned plans for greater representation of women in legislative bodies. PWD Minister Rakesh Singh said BJP has become an invincible party due to the tireless efforts of its workers. He urged party cadre to take the achievements of the government to every village and household. **Senior BJP Workers Felicitated at ‘Gaon-Basti Chalo Abhiyan’ Launch in Jabalpur.
