Nearly a month after the sensational shootout at the Hamidia Hospital emergency gate on March 14, a CCTV footage of the incident surfaced and went viral on social media on Wednesday. The footage provides a chilling visual of notorious criminal Shadab Qureshi, alias Shadab Gate, brandishing a pistol and a knife while firing three rounds. Following the revelation of the video, the Kohefiza Police have initiated process to bring Shadab Qureshi to Bhopal from Jalgaon on a production warrant. The viral footage shows Shadab Gate standing defiantly in front of the hospital’s emergency gate for approximately five minutes. Despite attempts by some individuals to pacify him, the accused is seen targeting history-sheeter Lallu Raees and his son. One of the bullets reportedly shattered the glass of the emergency gate. The accused and his associates fled the spot immediately after the firing. The investigation has highlighted a long-standing blood feud between Shadab and Lallu Raees, both of whom have extensive criminal records.

The conflict intensified two years ago when Lallu’s son, Imran, allegedly attacked Shadab’s brother, Shajeb, shortly after his release from jail. While Shajeb survived the attack, the incident cemented a bitter rivalry between the two factions. Police sources also indicate an economic motive behind the animosity. Shadab is allegedly involved in illegal gambling and betting operations in the city, and he suspected Lallu Raees of recording videos of these activities and providing them to the police as evidence. Station House Officer (SHO) KG Shukla stated that all other suspects involved in the shootout have already been arrested and sent to jail. The prime accused, Shadab Gate, is currently lodged in Jalgaon Jail, Maharashtra, after being arrested by the local police in an illegal arms case. The CCTV footage serves as crucial evidence in the ongoing investigation. We are moving the court for a production warrant to bring Shadab Gate to Bhopal for detailed interrogation regarding the March 14 incident. Further legal proceedings will follow his arrival,” SHO Shukla added.
