The Maharashtra Government has ordered a major reshuffle in the State Police Force, transferring 21 officials across key districts and departments.
From Nagpur, Niketan Kadam, Deputy Police Commissioner (DCP) (Zone 5), has been transferred as Superintendent of Police Amravati (Rural).
The Home Department issued the order on Thursday as part of routine administrative changes aimed at strengthening law and order and streamlining operations across the State. The order, issued under Section 22 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951, approves transfers involving Indian Police Service (IPS) and State Police Service officers as part of routine administrative restructuring.
