A soft light in the sky seized my eyes
I saw a beautiful sunset waving a colourful goodbyes
It filled the sky with divine light in a saffron palette
Casting shadows over shrubs and structures,
forming quiet silhouettes.
It embraced the lake with its warm touch,
To ruminate on the scene, a moment’s gentle nudge.
Where a clear sky romances with breeze in the dusk,
And a silent lake with sun-kissed waters
caresses a pair of ducks.
A boat adrift upon the water, a subdued gesture,
In the lake’s own stillness, a beautiful picture.
O Mother Nature! Your mercy is wide,
In every season, blessing us with marvelous sights.
In life, how we forget to honour your presence,
Yet you show love and care with motherly fragrance.
Still, we fail to perceive this often,
In peace and war, we take you for granted, guardian.
Before it is too late, guide us to value your resources
For true harmony resides in them
And respecting what we possess.
Teach us gratitude as we take upon your creation.
