Netal sets focus on civil services
NETAL Hemant Yenurkar, a visually impaired
student from SaraswatiVidyamandir inWardha,
has achieved a remarkable
feat by securing 93.80%
marks in the SSC examination.
Despite being visually
impaired since childhood,
with determination and hard
work, she has emerged as
probable State topper from
divyang category, a success
that serves as a humbling
inspiration to everyone.
She has effectively proven
that physical disabilities do
not have to be mental limitations.
While she previously relied
on Braille books, Netal
embraced digital tools this
year after completing a mobile and computer
course at the Atmadeepam Society in Nagpur.
She is the daughter of Hemant Yenurkar, a businessman, and Seema Yenurkar, a homemaker.
Netal has been exceptionally bright throughout her schooling, consistently topping every
class in a regular school
rather than a specialised
elite institution.
With the constant support of her mother, Netal
has successfully cleared this
first major milestone of her
life. Looking ahead, she
plans to enter the Arts
stream to prepare for competitive civil service exams
like the MPSC and UPSC.
Her story is a powerful
reminder of what can be
achieved through selfbelief and intense focus,
offering a beacon of hope
to both the specially-abled
and common people.
