Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has given a big gift to more than 1.5 crore beloved sisters of the State during his visit to Mungwani in Narsinghpur district on Wednesday. During a programme, the Chief Minister transferred 36th installment of the Chief Minister’s Ladli Bahna Yojana directly to the bank accounts of the sisters through a single click. On the occasion, the CM expressed his respect towards the mother power by performing Kanya Pujan on the stage and had a cordial dialogue with the sisters present.
“Economic and social empowerment of Ladli Bahnas is real basis of progress of Madhya Pradesh. The Government stands with its sisters at every step,” the Chief Minister reiterated the Government’s unwavering commitment to the scheme in his address. Demand for new college in Mungwani: During the programme, Gotegaon MLA Mahendra Nagesh put forward an important proposal to the Chief Minister in terms of regional development. MLA Nagesh demanded opening of a new college in Mungwani.
He argued that opening of colleges at local level will prevent students from the region, especially daughters, from wandering towards cities for higher education. Local citizens have welcomed MLA’s initiative and described it as a necessary step for the region.
CM Dr Yadav performed bhoomipujan and inauguration of various construction works. He also felicitated meritorious students. He distributed benefits of various schemes to women groups during the programme.
Dr Yadav ceremoniously laid foundation stone and inaugurated various development works remotely at Mungwani in Narsinghpur district.
