Scoring an impressive 98.4 per cent marks in the CBSE Class 12 examinations, probable Commerce topper Atharv Lahoti, a student of Bhavan’s Civil Lines, attributed his success to discipline, consistency, and regular studies. He secured a perfect 100 out of 100 marks in both Applied Mathematics and Accountancy.
Atharv, whose father is Director of a fintech company and whose mother is a homemaker, said, he studied for nearly two to three hours daily throughout the academic year. According to him, maintaining a steady routine helped him avoid stress and pressure during examinations.
He emphasised on importance of attending school regularly, crediting his teachers for their constant guidance and support. Along with school, he had taken tuition classes for Accountancy, where his teacher helped him clear doubts and strengthen concepts. Despite his academic schedule, Atharv ensured he stayed connected to his hobbies and social life. He regularly played tennis and cricket and spent time speaking with friends.
Interested in pursuing a career in finance, Atharv has recently appeared for the IPMAT examination. Advising juniors, he said, consistency in daily studies is the key to achieving good results without feeling overwhelmed.
