Mrunmayee, a student of St Paul School, secured 97 per cent in the CBSE Class 12 examinations, and is one of the city probable toppers in Science stream. Aspiring to pursue MBBS, her core subjects were Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and she, recently, appeared for the NEET examination and hopes to build a career in the medical field.
Daughter of an Advocate father and a mother who is a Government school teacher, Mrunmayee said, she had to work extra hard as she began her board preparations slightly late.
To cover up, she studied nearly 12 to 14 hours every day in the months leading up to the examinations.
Mrunmayee said, there were moments when she felt demotivated or stressed during preparations. During such times, speaking to her parents
and teachers helped her regain confidence and stay focused on her goals. Their constant guidance and encouragement played a major role in helping her perform well in the examinations,
she added.
Advising juniors, Mrunmayee said, students should always value the perspectives and advice of their parents and teachers.
According to her, they understand students the best and can guide them in the right direction both academically and personally.
