Dr Akhilesh Vasantrao Peshwe assumed charge as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) on Thursday. Following his appointment as Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Dr Akhilesh Peshwe took charge in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Dr Manali Kshirsagar. On this occasion, the Registrar, Dr Raju Hiwase, extended a warm welcome to the newly-appointed Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Dr Akhilesh Peshwe.

 

Upon assuming charge as the 14th Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr Akhilesh Peshwe commenced his official duties in his office. Present at the event were Registrar Dr Raju Hiwase; Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Dr Umesh Palikundwar; Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr Shamrao Koreti; Dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Dr Mangala Hirwade; and Director of the Knowledge Resource Centre, Dr Vijay Khandal. They were joined by various statutory officers, heads of academic departments, faculty members, administrative officers, and staff. Following his taking charge of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor’s office, Dr Akhilesh Peshwe was felicitated and congratulated with bouquets on behalf of various organisations.
