Dr Priti Bhongle was felicitated with the ‘Best Yoga Professional of the Year’ award at the Six Sigma Healthcare Leadership Summit 2026 held at Taj Palace, New Delhi. The award was presented by Hema Malini, Member of the Lok Sabha, and renowned Bollywood actress, in recognition of Dr Bhongle’s contribution to promoting yoga and holistic wellness.

 

The event brought together leading figures from healthcare, government, the armed forces, sports, and entertainment sectors. Expressing gratitude after receiving the honour, Dr Bhongle said the recognition reaffirmed her commitment to advancing health and wellness through yoga. Prof Dr Meenu Singh, Director and Chief Executive Officer of AIIMS Rishikesh; Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff; Dr Vinod Kumar: Director General of Police (DGP); Major General Lisamma PV, Additional Director General of the Military Nursing Service (MNS), along with other prominent dignitaries were present on the occassion.
