The Nagpur City Carrom Competition 2026 under Khasdar Krida Mahotsav (KKM) will begin on June 3.
KKM was started by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to give platform to budding sportspersons of the city to showcase their talent.
The four-day carrom competition will be held at the Ahuja Nagar Sports Complex, Jaripatka.
This competition, which is being held under the guidance of Vidarbha (Maharashtra) Carrom Association President and former MLA Girish Vyas, is open only to players from Nagpur district.
The competition will feature men’s singles, women’s
singles.
Prabhjit Singh Bacher, Secretary of Vidarbha (Maharashtra) Carrom Association, said, “Local players are getting a rightful platform through Khasdar Krida Mahotsav. This competition will be important in promoting indoor games like carrom.”
Players interested in participating in the tournament will have to confirm their entry by May 30. More details can be obtained from Navneet Singh Tuli, the organising secretary, Bachher, national coach Naval Meshram or Iqbal Mohammad.
KHO-KHO MEET

Similarly, the kho-kho competition will be held from June 6 at Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Nandanvan.
Competitions will be organised at city level for senior group men and women as well as boys and girls Under 16 years of age.
