Cummins College of Engg gets autonomous status by UGC

Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur has recently been conferred an autonomous status by the University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi, marking a significant milestone in its academic journey of the college. It brings greater academic freedom along with higher responsibility for maintaining quality standards. Under the umbrella of 130+ years old Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha founded by Bharatratna Mahrarshi Dhondo Keshav Karve, Cummins College of Engineering for Women was established in 2010 on the outskirts of orange city Nagpur in Hingna.
 
The college has vision of Women Empowerment through Education in line with samstha's vision. The college has worldclass academic and administrative infrastructure spread across 23 acres wifi enabled green campus which includes not limited to on campus hostel facilities, outdoor and indoor sports and gym, ICT enabled library, Seminar halls, E-learning facilities, laboratories upgraded with latest setups, softwares, operating systems and high end computing facilities as well as transportation facilities.
