IT WAS Golden Eagles all the way in the DRM Cup Inter-Academy Football Tournament. The U-10, U-12 and U-15 squads won all the titles on offer in different age groups. In U-10 category, Golden Eagles defeated Rising Spartans; in U-12 group, Golden Eagles beat Royal Warriors while in U-15 category, Golden Eagles defeated Rising Spartans. In U-10 final, Golden Eagles won 3-1. Sarjil Jamal (4th, 10th, 20th) scored all the goals for the winners while Moiz (21st) pulled one back for Rising Spartans. Sarjil was name Man of the Final. Individual Awards: Best Goalkeeper – Hayan Meshram (Golden Eagles), Best Defender – S Jaswant (Rising Spartans), Best Midfielder – Moize (Rising Spartans), Best Striker – Zidan (Royal Warriors), Player of the Tournament - Sarjil. Riding on Man of the Final Md Umair’s hat-trick (5th, 12th, 24th), Golden Eagles pipped Royal Warriors 3-2 to win the title. For the runners-up, Ayushman Adhana (7th) and Abdul Rafay (15th) were the goal getters. Individual Awards: Best Goalkeeper – Md Azim (Golden Eagles), Best Defender – Samruddh Pali (Royal Warriors), Best Midfielder – Ayushman Adhana (Royal Warriors), Best Striker – Abdul Rafay (Royal Warriors), Player of the Tournament – Umair (Golden Eagles).
 
In the U-15 summit clash, Golden Eagles blanked Rising Spartans 2-0. Md Zeeshan (8th) and Man of the Final Arman Adhana (19th) found the target. Individual Awards: Best Goalkeeper – Aarush Kothurwar (Golden Eagles), Best Defender – Ansh Ramteke (Rising Spartans), Best Midfielder – Zeeshan (Golden Eagles), Best Striker – Azhan Ahmed (Rising Spartans), Player of the Tournament – Adhana (Golden Eagles). The finals were graced by chief guest Deepak Kumar Gupta, DRM/SECR/Nagpur. He was welcomed by Dilip Singh, Sr Sports Officer & Sr DCM/SECR/Nagpur. Branch Officers and other dignitaries were prominently present. In the hard-liners, (U-10): Royal Warriors defeated Thunder Tigers 2-1. Zidan 8th Aarul 13th (Royal Warriors); Vihaan Anand Singh 20th (Thunder Tigers). U-12: Rising Spartans beat Thunder Tigers 2-1. Aaron Joseph 6th, Jerome Francis 15th (Rising Spartans); Shourya Yadav 10th (Thunder Tigers). U-15: Royal Warriors defeated Thunder Tigers 1-0 on Mahir Nande’s 19th minute goal. For the third place matches, chief guest were NDFA Secretary Iqbal Kashmiri, General Secretary Stanley Gregory and Deputy Secretary Mohd Mubin. The tournament was successfully organised with the valuable contribution and support of Anirudh Sarwate, Radhey Shukla, Abdul Khalique, Shrikant Roy, Ritesh Inumula, Jude Anthony, Vipin Madne, Amit Anthony and SECRSA football team.
