SOHAM Band hammered six goals as Nobel Sports Academy thrashed Cradle Sports Academy 12-0 in the U-17 Late Atal Bahadur Singh Youth Championship at NDFA ground on Monday. In a one-sided encounter, Nobel led 6-0 at the half way mark and doubled the score before the final whistle. Soham’s six goals that came in 10th, 15th, 30+1, 40th, 51st and 52nd minutes, overshadowed hat-trick by Akshay Pandey (1st, 45th, 60th), who gave the team lead in opening minute of the match.

 

Atharva Upadhyay (12th, 23rd) added a brace while Aryan Kamble scored one in the 47th minute. Rabbani Academy Kamptee also got off to a winning start blanking South West FA 3-0. All the three goals came in first half of the match. Hammadur Rahman found the target in fourth minute of play. Abdul Rahman made it 2-0 in the 23rd while with three minutes left to the lemon break, Mohammad Shiban (27th) added one more. With a late goal coming in the 54th minute of the match through Arsalan Athar, Porwal Football Academy edged past Ekta Sporting 1-0.
