The hearing for the high-profile Twisha Sharma death case took place in the District Court on Tuesday. During the session, the police presented their formal responses to applications filed by Navnidhi Sharma, the father of the deceased, and former judge Giribala Singh. The matter was heard in the court of Civil Judge Akanksha Kumar Uchariya. In response to the application filed by Navnidhi Sharma, the police informed the court that they have requested the call detail records of Giribala Singh from the telecommunications provider, covering the period from the date of the incident until May 20.

A formal letter has been dispatched to the relevant company to obtain this information. The police stated that these call records have been incorporated into the investigation file and are currently being analysed to establish the sequence of events surrounding the incident. Regarding the application submitted on behalf of Giribala Singh, the police stated that all digital evidence, including CCTV footage, has already been seized. Investigators confirmed to the court that these electronic records have been securely preserved and are an integral part of the ongoing investigation. This response addresses the application filed by Giribala Singh concerning the specific date and time stamps on CCTV footage that had previously circulated on social media platforms.
