Following strict directives from Collector Raghavendra Singh, Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of Jabalpur Dr Naveen Kothari has officially terminated all temporary attachments (deployments) of Health Department staff across the district with immediate effect.
The decision aimed to streamline healthcare services and ensure adequate staffing at original designated locations.
The directive was issued during the District Health Committee meeting held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, under the chairmanship of Collector Singh. During the meeting, the committee reviewed the current staffing structure and decided to cancel all ongoing attachments to optimize healthcare delivery in rural and urban units.
The cancellation order applied universally across all health units in Jabalpur district. It covered various categories of employees, including regular staff, contractual (Samvida) employees, Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) employees, doctors, paramedical staff, nursing cadre, as well as Class III and Class IV employees who were working away from their appointed stations.
In compliance with the Collector’s decision, CMHO Dr. Kothari has instructed all attached officers and employees to immediately report back to their original places of posting. Dr. Kothari has ordered the heads/in-charges of all health institutions to immediately relieve any staff member currently working under an attachment arrangement and submit a compliance report to the local CMHO office.
