City’s Balkrishna Bhartia has been appointed as National Convenor of Swadeshi Vyapari Manch. The decision was taken at the recently held meeting of the forum in Lucknow. The forum’s motto is “National interest, business interest, and businessman interest." It will work towards this objective. This decision was taken in Lucknow meeting in the presence of top Swadeshi Jagran officials, including Kashmiri Lal, National Organising Secretary; Satish Kumar, National Co-organising Secretary; Rajkumar Mittal, National Co-convenor; Ajay Patki, National Co-convenor; Manohar Lal, National Co-convenor; and others.

 

There are several national-level organisations of traders and businessmen in the country. All organisations work for their respective businesses. In September 2025, Team CAIT Nagpur organised a meeting of national-level business organisations from across the country under the banner of Swadeshi Vyapari Jutan. At that meeting, it was announced that it was necessary for all national-level business organisations to establish a platform to amplify their voices unitedly. Consequently, at a recently held meeting in Lucknow, it was decided to establish the Swadeshi Vyapari Manch under the aegis of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch. This forum will operate independently as an autonomous body.
