Dishant Gandhi scored two goals in space of five minutes as Sankalp Sports Academy thrashed Cradle Sports Academy in the ongoing U-17 Late Sardar Atal Bahadur Singh Football Championship at NDFA’s Football Stadium in Suyog Nagar. In the one-sided encounter, Sankalp recorded a 5-0 win over Cradle with Gandhi bulging the net in 10th and 15th minute to set the ball rolling. The other goal scorers were Vitthal Kale 18th, Shaurya Hake 26th and Devansh Bijade (60+1). Gandhi was named man of the match for his fine effort.

 

In another match, Xcite Play ‘B’ drew with Majestic Pavilion 2-2 to share points. For Xcite Play ‘B’ Ayan Khana (8th) and Mukesh Yadav (35th) scored the goals while for Majestic Pavilion, Farhan Khan (12th) and Nilyanshu Remkaris (54th) were the goal getters. Khana was declared man of the match. FSA Chankapur blanked Ideal Boys by two goals to nil. Aditya Belkar (37th) and Ashav Zade (53rd) were the goal getters for the winners.
