Key issues related to industrial development were discussed with representatives of various industry associations during a district-level meeting of Small Industries Promotion Board, Coordination Committee and Export Promotion Committee. The meeting was focused on the establishment of new industrial clusters, land allotment for upcoming industrial areas, investment opportunities across sectors, challenges faced by existing industrial zones and the district’s export plan. Chairing the meeting, Collector Raghvendra Singh directed the officials to expedite the setting up of a dyeing and washing plant in the garment cluster. He also reviewed the progress of the proposed furniture cluster in Bhatoli. Updates were sought on infrastructure development works, including the logistics park, boundary construction in the Richhai industrial area, establishment of a fire station in Richhai and infrastructure projects in Mohaniya. Officials were instructed to ensure faster progress on these initiatives.
 
Discussions were also held on land allocation for new industrial units and a detailed review of activities undertaken by Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation. Key topics included the textile export plan, the Chief Minister’s ‘Seekho Kamao Yojana’, introduction of new trades and trade security measures. Industrialists were encouraged to submit proposals for the establishment of a food processing cluster. The operation of an exhibition centre in the district was also discussed. During the meeting, MPIDC Executive Director Anil Kumar Rathore presented details on land availability in industrial areas and upcoming industrial zones. General Manager of the District Trade and Industry Centre Vineet Rajak provided insights on MSME-related initiatives. During the meeting, Jila Panchayat CEO Abhishek Gehlot, ITI Principal Dr Arpit Shukla, MSME Assistant Director Sujit Ghosh, IT Park Manager Nishant Mishra, along with industrial representatives including Ravi Gupta, Ashok Paryani, Pankaj Maheshwari, Bhavana Madan, Deepak Jain, Anurag Jain, Vivek Mohan Pathak, Munindra Mishra and Praveen Sharma were present.
