Green signal to revised cost of Indore Metro Project, Health Policy 2026

Several major decisions have been taken by Dr Mohan Yadav Cabinet on Tuesday, including transfer policy, increase in Metro’s cost, Health Policy 2026. MP Cabinet meeting sets deadline for transfers, new cost for Indore Metro Rs 12,900 crore, Health Policy 2026 and projects worth Rs 24,000 crore got the nod by team Mohan Yadav on Tuesday in a meeting held at Secretariat building. Several important public interest proposals were approved at the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav. Following the meeting, MSME Minister Chaitanya Kashyap announced the decisions, stating that the transfer process will be completed by Tuesday and underlined will not be extended. As per the decision, the deadline for the transfer of Government employees and officials has been extended by one day; this means transfer orders can be issued untill Tuesday midnight. Previously, the Government had set the deadline for June 15. Another important decisions pertains to increased the cost of the Indore Metro Rail Project, a new incentive policy in the health sector, and the operation of community health centres. These decisions are considered important steps towards the development of the state and strengthening the administrative system. This meeting puts a full stop to employees for a much-talked issue of transfer, it has brought clarity among government employees. Minister Chaitanya Kashyap stated that approved transfer orders will be uploaded on the portal by June 16, Tuesday midnight.
 
The Government also clarified that the transfer period will not be extended, thus eliminating confusion among employees. State-level Yoga Day celebration in Jabalpur: A State-level program for International Yoga Day will be held in Jabalpur on June 21. President Droupadi Murmu is also expected to attend this event, which is considered an important event for the state. Indore Metro Project cost increased: The Cabinet has approved the increased cost of the Indore Metro Rail Project. The project, originally valued at approximately Rs 7,500 crore, has now been increased to Rs 12,900 crore. This is expected to accelerate the project’s expansion and modernisation. Fund for other schemes have been approved: The meeting also approved a proposal to continue various schemes worth approximately Rs 24,000 crore. These schemes will play a crucial role in accelerating the State’s development. In health sector, major changes will be seen as the Cabinet also approved the Health Infrastructure Promotion Policy-2026. This policy will encourage hospitals and diagnostic centres. Financial assistance will be provided, especially to health institutions run by charitable, social, and religious organisations. Private operation of community health centres: A decision has also been made to hand over 18 community health centres in Rewa, Dewas, and Guna districts to private management. However, the state government will remain responsible for medicines and infrastructure. Effective implementation of these schemes is crucial.
