RIDING on a hat-trick by Rajvansh Bhatia, Eagle Academy hammered Rabbani Academy 6-0 in their Under-15 boys Late Dada Mitra NDFA Football Academy Championship on Tuesday. Shahid Sheikh gave the team an early opening scoring as early as in the fourth minute of play. Man of the Match Rajvansh got two within two minutes in 18th and 20th to make it 3-0. Ayush Gupta (24th) and Yash Meglani (28th) killed the game with goals in the first half itself. Rajvansh completed his hat-trick in the 39th minute stunning Rabbani. In an earlier match, a double strike by Lokansh helped DDYS Academy edge past Fancy Star Academy 2-1. Lokansh gave the team 1-0 lead in the 20th minute.

 

Within three minutes of the second half, Fancy’ Mohammed Farhaan (33rd) fired in the equaliser. Man of the match Lokansh struck again in the 38th minute to ensure the team gets full point from the game. Last two matches of the league ended with an identical 4-0 scoreline. Shree Football Academy blanked Friends Academy 4-0. Ritvik Devakar scored a brace in second and 23rd minutes of play while Pratik Tekam (19th) and Nayan Pandit (25th) added one each. Man of the match award went to Ritvik. Pavilion Academy also recorded 4-0 win over South West Academy. Yatharth Adibile (21st, 45th) found back of the net twice. Man of the match Abhiuday Verma (38th) and Soham Sontakke (50th) registered their names on the scoresheet.
