President Droupadi Murmu’s visit, 15-km near event venues, transit routes declared ‘NO-FLY ZONE, ‘RED ZONE’

AHEAD of President Droupadi
Murmu’s upcoming two-day
visit to Jabalpur on June 20 and
21, tight security measures
have been put in place. To
ensure maximum safety,
Superintendent of Police (SP)
Sampat Upadhyay has issued
an official order designating a
15-kilometer radius around all
scheduled event venues and
transit routes as a strict ‘NoFly Zone and ‘Red Zone’.
The high-security restrictions will cover several key locations across the city, including
Dumna Airport, Garrison
Ground, Circuit House No. 1,
MES Rest House, Rani
Durgavati University (RDU)
and the entire 15-km movement corridor connecting
Dumna Airport to the Garrison
Ground.
According to the official
directive, restrictions will come
into effect from 10 am on June
20 and will remain strictly
enforced until 10 pm on June
21. During this 36-hour window, operation of drones,
paragliders, hot air balloons,
or any other type of private flying objects is completely
banned within the designated
areas.
Local administration has
warned that any violation of
this security order will be met
with immediate and strict legal
action. Violators will face severe
prosecution under ‘Aircraft Act
of 1934’ alongside other relevant sections of the law.
