Youth killed as two vehicles collide head-on near Hingna, driver booked
A 29-year-old man lost his life after a Tata Ace vehicle allegedly collided head-on with his motorcycle near Bibisawali village in Hingna on Saturday evening. Police have registered a case against the driver for rash and negligent driving. The deceased, Akash Vitthal Pimple (29), was a resident of Bibisawali in Kanholibara. According to police, he had gone to inspect work at a well on his farmland and was returning home on his Splendor motorcycle around 7 pm on May 30.
The accident occurred on the road connecting Bibisawali village and Bibifata, near the farm of Tushar Zhade. Police said, a Tata Ace vehicle coming from the opposite direction allegedly struck Akash’s motorcycle. The vehicle was reportedly being driven by Ajay Bhauraoji Bhovare (40), also a resident of Bibisawali.
The impact threw Akash off his motorcycle and left him critically injured. He was rushed to AIIMS Hospital, MIHAN, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Based on a complaint lodged by Gajanan Bhauraoji Pimple, police registered a case against the driver under Sections 106(1) and 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
