JSW Nagpur South pipped Eagle Football Club to emerge champions in the U-15 Late Dada Mitra Youth Championship that concluded at NDFA ground. After a goalless first half, Likhit Sontakke found the title winning goal in the 36th minute of play. Likhit was named Man of the Match (winners) while for the losing finalists, Rajvansh Singh Bhatia took that honours. With seven goals to his credit, Top Scorer Arjun Kolhatkar of JSW was named Player of the Tournament.

 

Other awards were as below: Best Goalkeeper — Joshua Michael of JSW; Best Defender — Akshad Raut of Achievers; Best Forward — Om Dhangar of Nobel and Best Half — Saish Lanjewar of Eagle FC. Dilip Singh, Senior Sports Officer of South East Central Railway was chief guest of the prize distribution ceremony. Asif Sheikh, Chairperson, Ashi Nagar Zone, was guest of honour. Haresh Vora, President, NDFA; Iqbal Kashmiri, Secretary; Dr Stanley Gregory, Abid Khan, Hemant Sahani, Dr Kamal Ansari, Khalid Ansari, AB Khan, Mehfooz Akhtar, Rajesh Raut, Ankush Bhadange and Pappan Pramanik graced the function.
