A delegation of Nag vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) recently met Dr Kamalkishore Futane, Additional Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Nagpur, and raised issues of waterlogging and drainage in Umiya Industrial Estate and surrounding areas. The delgation, under the leadership of Farooq Akbani, President of NVCC, highlighted that encroachments near Umiya Industrial Estate have blocked passage of drainage which leads to waterlogging during the rainy season.

Dr Futane listened carefully to the chamber’s request and assured the traders that the administration will soon take necessary action. Also present on the occasion were Sachin Puniyani, Treasurer of NVCC; Vedprakash Soni, Dipesh Patel, Vinod Patel, and Shashikant Chopra from the Umiya Industrial Colony Society, Kapsi Khurd, says a press issued by CA Hemant Sarda, Secretary of NVCC.
