In a dramatic turn of events, a routine night patrol by Bhopal police led to discovery of a burglary at Katara Hills residence of retired judge Giribala Singh. Singh is currently an accused in the high-profile death case of actress-model Twisha Sharma. The patrolling officers spotted three suspicious individuals carrying a heavy bag through the locality under the cover of darkness. When the police team intercepted the trio for questioning, two of the suspects immediately fled into the darkness, while officers managed to get hold of one miscreant on the spot. Upon searching the abandoned bag, police recovered several pieces of silver jewellery alongside official documents belonging to Giribala Singh. In the ensuing commotion, the third suspect also managed to break free and escape from the scene. Alarmed by the recovery of the retired judge’s personal papers, the patrol team immediately alerted senior administrative officials and rushed to the residence. Upon arrival, they found Singh’s brother, Ranvijay Bhadoriya, asleep inside the house, entirely unaware that the property had been breached.

At the prompting of the officers, Bhadoriya inspected the premises, discovering a broken rear door and one of the interior rooms thoroughly ransacked. Preliminary investigations suggest that the unidentified burglars forced entry through the back door of the house during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. Investigators subsequently scanned the closed-circuit television cameras installed around the property, which successfully captured images of the three suspects. Using this footage, police launched a swift sweep of the area, detaining two suspects on Sunday who are currently undergoing intense interrogation. Katara Hills Police Station In-charge Sunil Kumar Dubey confirmed that while no formal written complaint has been registered by the family so far, law enforcement has initiated a detailed inquiry based on the evidence collected. The property owner, retired judge Giribala Singh, along with son Samarth, is currently in jail in connection with the suspected death of Singh’s daughter-in-law, actress-model Twisha Sharma, a high-profile case currently under active investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation.
