TEAM Yamuna emerged winners in the much-awaited women’s open cricket tournament ‘Dil Bole Hadippa – Season 4’, that was organised by Dr Chhabi Chandak at DNC ground, Dhantoli recently. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from women’s teams across the city, showcasing exceptional talent, sportsmanship and competitive spirit. After impressive performances in the league stage, Team Yamuna, Team Nagpur Royal Challengers, Team Red Riders, and Team Black Mamba qualified for the semi-finals. Team Yamuna defeated Team Nagpur Royal Challengers via Super Over. Smita Mohankar played a brilliant knock scoring 14 runs off 6 balls. Chasing the target, Team Nagpur Royal Challengers managed only 6 runs.

 

Ranjana Singhanpure was named Player of the Match. In other semis, Team Red Riders defeated Black Mamba. Sonal Renghe was declared Player of the Match. In final, Team Red Riders posted 57-4 in their 8 overs. In reply, Team Yamuna displayed remarkable composure and batting excellence, successfully chasing the target scoring 58-2. Dr Bhakti Bhatnagar was adjudged Player of the Final. Purushottam Malu, Anand Smita Bharut, Nikita Kothari, Sheila, Priya Chandak, Neeraj Maheshwari, Ankita Mundra, Neelam Dassani, Lalita Kothari, Yash Kabra, Tarun Patel and Dewin Kothari were among those who worked for success of the event.
