Additional Divisional Commissioner Dr Madhavi Khode-Chaware spent a night in the remote tribal villages of Kolitmara and Tirangisarra as part of the administration’s ‘Ek Diwas Gaavat’ initiative, aimed at strengthening public trust through direct interaction with residents. During her visit, Dr Khode-Chaware reviewed issues related to health, education, employment and basic amenities. She directed officials to expedite the construction of the Health Centre and ensure adequate facilities at the local Anganwadi.
 
She instructed Forest Department officials to submit a proposal for the reopening of a local safari gate, and directed departments to explore fisheries-based livelihood opportunities in the Totladoh and Pench reservoirs. Dr Khode-Chaware reviewed the implementation of various Government schemes and instructed officials to adopt a citizen-centric approach. She also inspected village roads, water supply projects and other development works, directing officials to submit a report on local issues within 15 days. Senior administrative officials from various departments accompanied her during the visit.
