Panic created in Raksha Nagar area after a human skull was found in a garbage dump near Fakad Baba Temple under the jurisdiction of Ranjhi police station limit on Wednesday. Acting on information from local residents, a police team rushed to the spot and recovered the skull. The remains have been taken into custody and sent for forensic examination. Ranjhi CSP Satish Sahu said that police received information about a human skull lying in a garbage heap in the Raksha Nagar near Fakad Baba Temple area. Following the recovery, an investigation was initiated and the skull is being sent for forensic analysis.

 

Police officials said that only the skull was found at the spot, and no other human remains have been recovered so far. As a result, the case is being investigated from all possible angles. During preliminary investigation, local residents informed police that hyenas are often seen in the area. It is suspected that the animal may have dug up the skull from a grave and carried it to the location where it was found. However, police have not ruled out any possibility and are conducting a detailed investigation to ascertain the origin of the skull and the circumstances under which it reached the site.
