Three judges from the Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court will be sworn in as Permanent Judges of the High Court on Tuesday. The oath-taking ceremony will be held at 10 am in the Central Court Hall of the Bombay High Court’s principal seat in Mumbai. The event will also be conducted through video conferencing, which would allow judges at the Nagpur Bench to participate.
The judges from Nagpur who will take oath as Permanent Judges are: Justice Nivedita Prakash Mehta, Justice Rohit Wasudeo Joshi and Justice Pravin Sheshrao Patil. In total, six Additional Judges of the Bombay High Court will be sworn in as Permanent Judges during the ceremony. The proceedings will be conducted in the order of seniority.
