THE Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Nagpur Branch Office, in collaboration with the Butibori Manufacturers Association (BMA), successfully conducted an awareness programme focused on helping MSMEs obtain BIS certification and improve product quality by aligning with Indian standards. More than 30 units participated in the event. The programme was delivered by Debashish Sharma, with coordination by Hitesh Agrawal of BMA. Shreyash Bhave delivered the vote of thanks.

 

The event was led by President Kishore Malviya and Secretary Shashi Agrawal, with Executive Committee members Udayan Gudgutiya, Saurabh Agrawal, Ravi Singh, and Ajay Gupta in attendance. BIS Resource Team included Nisha Kanbargi, Scientist-D/Joint Director, BIS Nagpur Branch Office as the chief guest, Vishal Bhagvatkar, Consultant, BIS and Dnyaneshwar Nakade, Consultant, BIS. The programme concluded on a meaningful note with participants taking an environmental conservation pledge in observance of World Environment Day.
